Chiesi Global Rare Diseases Nordics is pleased to announce, the availability of two research grants in the field of IEM. The purpose of these grants is to support innovative research that contributes to a better understanding, improved diagnostics, or management of IEM.

About the Grant

• Number of grants: 2
• Grant amount: €10,000 per grant
• Application period: May 18 - August 14, 2026
• Target group: Researchers based in Finland, at an early or established stage of their career, with projects related to inborn metabolic diseases.

Evaluation Criteria

Applications will be evaluated based on:

• Scientific quality and originality
• Relevance to the field of rare metabolic diseases
• Feasibility and project plan
• Potential clinical or societal impact

• Short CV and publication list
• Letter of support from supervisor (for PhD students) or head of department (for others)
